PLAN OF OUR TRIP
We will begin our route at La Farga de Bebié, a century-old textile colony located between the counties of Osona and El Ripollès. It was founded by the Swiss industrialist Edmund Bebié Wild, who took advantage of the strategic location offered by the meander of the River Ter. Construction of the factory began in 1895.

Our journey will take us through the Sierra de los Bufadores, a unique natural area with a special microclimate. Here, large moss-covered rock formations create an enchanting landscape rich in distinctive flora. As we explore, we will come across numerous holes in the ground. If we move closer, we will feel cold air emerging from within. At times, the wind whistling through these cavities produces an eerie sound, giving the area its name—Bufadores (Blowers). Further along, we will encounter more of these openings, some of which have been examined by expert speleologists. The terrain here is unstable, and entering the blowers is not advisable. This magical setting, with its striking beauty, makes for an unforgettable experience.

Continuing along the ridge of La Serra, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Vall de Bisaura before descending toward Coll de Beví. From there, we will follow a paved road leading to Santa Maria de Besora. At the exit of the village, we will take a path to the right, and shortly after, we will make a detour to ascend to the Castell de Besora.

The Castle of Besora, perched atop a hill at 1,023 meters above sea level, lies to the west of Santa Maria de Besora in the Osona region. Today, only ruins remain of this once-important fortress, which historically controlled the lands of present-day Santa Maria de Besora, Sant Quirze de Besora, and Montesquiu.

From here, we will descend to the Castell de Montesquiu, a historic fortress dating back to the Middle Ages. Originally built in the 10th century, the castle evolved into a large fortified manor house, bearing witness to centuries of history..
