Castellfollit de la Roca is a small village located on top of a basalt cliff, with houses built with volcanic stone right along the edge — a unique place in Catalonia 🏰 🌿 There are several easy and scenic trails nearby, passing through forests with moss, quiet paths, and open viewpoints over the valley. Along the way, we will stop near a small chapel for a picnic and enjoy a relaxed walk in the area. At the end of the route, we will return to the village and walk along the edge of the cliff to a viewpoint with wide views of the landscape. 🌄 t’s a beautiful plan to combine a short hike with one of the most iconic villages in Catalonia — perfect to discover the authentic inland part of the region.
